Breast screening saves lives from breast cancer. 

Lives are saved because cancers are diagnosed and treated earlier than they would have without screening.

Some women have not responded to their invitation to attend due to fears about Covid.

Women aged between 50 and 70 years old are invited for screening every 3 years.

Women over 71 can also self refer.
